Susan Elliott was born in the small town of Crockett, Texas on Thanksgiving Day. Her literary works have appeared in Visions, Poesia, Christian Woman Magazine, and on numerous online sites. She has written so many articles that she sometimes forgets what she's written. In fact, one day she was looking for the answer to a question only to find that she had written the article containing the answer six months prior. She enjoys writing, and poetry and fiction are her passion. Susan loves public speaking, and can often be found sharing her poetry with anyone she can get to listen.

Susan graduated from Northwest Arkansas Community College in 2006, where she was inducted into Gamma Beta Phi, and served as secretary for Insatiable Ink for a short time. Susan also received a certificate from the Memphis School of Preaching Student Wives program in 1996.

Susan is currently a member of the Valley Chapter of the Virginia Writer's Club, and loves attending meetings. She believes that workshops are the very best way to encourage writers to write and to help them grow.

She enjoys attending Mysticon in Roanoke, and has had the privilege to meet many people there; including, Orson Scott Card, Todd Mccaffrey, A.J. Hartley, and John de Lancie.

Susan has been known to travel to meet authors. In fact, she travelled four hours to meet one of her favorite authors, Christopher Paolini, and have him sign her first edition copy of Eragon. After speaking to him briefly, she traveled another four hours back to her house.

Susan hopes to one day meet Stephen King, JK Rowling, and Stephanie Meyer.

Susan is a homeschool mom, and teaches Grammar and Art for two different homeschool co-ops.

Interesting Fact: One of her children told her junior high English teacher that she had taught her Klingon for her foreign language when she home schooled, a fact which Susan couldn't deny.
